We are looking for a part-time, Veterinary Technician to join our team! This position offers up to 20 hours per week, Fridays and/or Saturdays

What You’ll Do:
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in the care and treatment of shelter animals. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Assist the shelter veterinarians with surgeries, medical procedures, and routine exams
  • Assist with administering vaccinations, injections, and microchipping
  • Conducting and interpreting results for basic lab diagnostics (e.g., ear cytology, skin scrapes, DTMs)
  • Supporting our mission by ensuring the animals receive high-quality, compassionate care

What We’re Looking For:
 
  • Quick learners who are eager to grow in the veterinary or animal care field
  • Individuals who align with our mission and believe in the importance of animal welfare
  • Confident with handling a variety of animals
  • Comfortable restraining animals and assisting Certified Euthanasia Technicians with the humane euthanasia process
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or similar setting
Compensation: $17.50 - $20.50 per hour
